Parents yelling? Take a deep breath. I've done my share at "yelling" at kids. Lots of time I didn't raise my voice, but to them it was "yelling". If you want to be treated differently, act differently. Go to them and ask if you can just talk. Tell them, "If I sit and really listen to you, will you sit and really listen to me?" I wish my kids had taken that stand with me... many times.
